Add ons to boxes

Delighted to have some great add ons to the boxes, so exciting to be working with folks widening our offer. If you are an existing customers, you can add these products to your box via the dashboards, if you aren’t you can also contact them directly, see below!

Homemade bread

Baked to order by Thomas Becht on his biodynamic farm up in Glenties. Customers can choose between rye and spelt bread, made with either organic yeast or organic sourdough. Grains are milled on the day of baking, or for sourdough - the day before baking.

You can also order bread directly from Thomas, as well as a range of tasty regenerative meats. Email tbecht@gmail.com or phone 087 2625590.

Christmas wreaths

The wonderful Ines Eggers of Anois Handcraft who volunteers with us, is making the most beautiful Christmas wreaths, all made with natural materials.

Ines says:  “Inspired by nature, I work with material I find in abundance all around me in hedgerows and forests, on trees and shrubs. I use lichen and mosses and also like to add wool - naturally dyed and undyed - to adopt what nature offers so generously.”

Wreaths can also be ordered directly from Ines by WhatsApp/phone on 0874860155 or email eggers23anois@gmail.com.

Microgreens

It was great to meet Jaime Leigh from The Grow House at the DLDC’s Celebrating Donegal Business - and am very happy to offer her microgreens alongside the boxes.

The Grow House is a brand new family run business from the shores of Rossnowlagh in Donegal. Jaime says: “I felt there was an opening in the market for year round locally grown food, while doing some research I came across Microgreens. Microgreens are the baby leaves of many vegetables and herbs that we all know and love and are bursting with nutrients. Good for your health and the planet!”

You can also contact Jamie directly via facebook, instagram, email thegrowhouse23@hotmail.com or 0851601894.
